Community & Church Activities
We seek to be the light of Jesus’ hope and love in our community through providing services and support as well as providing opportunity for nurture and scriptural engagement.
Our emergency food relief pantry is open to those needing assistance every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9am - 3pm at the church office.
Community
Oasis
Oasis offers a meal of soup or sandwiches and a baked treat to share with others every Thursday 12-1pm for a gold coin donation. All welcome to partake and be community together.
Volunteers from across the community cook, bake and serve this meal. Corporate volunteering is encouraged and can be arranged through Andrea Salmon, Oasis Coordinator.
Community
Kids Hope
We enjoy the privilege of connection with Eastwood Primary School through Kids Hope mentoring and support of their Chaplain, Brendan Alter. Through Kids Hope Aus., at-risk children are mentored by a caring, fully-screened adult for one hour each week during school terms. We have been a part of this program for more than 15 years and we know the positive impact it has on the lives of the mentored children. Contact our office for more information.
Church Activities
Life Groups
We have a variety of Life Groups that suit a multitude of needs. We believe that Life Groups are central to our experience of community, being active in mission and growing in formation. If you would like to know more, please contact the office.
Community
English Conversation Corner
During school terms English Conversation Corner runs at the church. This is available for anyone over the age of 18, looking to improve their English-speaking skills. These nights are free to participate and are meant to be relaxed and supportive. Tuesdays 7 - 8.30pm. Contact Tim or Debbie Brewster through the church office for more information.
