BYO chair. You will need to check in on the day as well using the QR Code - people will be around to help you. People will need to sit 1.5m from each household group. Consider beforehand where you will park - local streets or another alternative. Bedford Road carpark will be available for those who require easier accessibility. Advent Booklet

Words and images to comfort and stir you as we move towards Christmas and reflect on the unanticipated year of 2020.

2020 has been a year of apprehension – of not knowing what might come next. Many have experienced the sounds of waiting in a hospital this year – that uncomfortable feeling of apprehension as you listen to the rhythmn of the monitors; of people walking hastily down well-paced corridors, speaking in concerned but hushed voices.

It also might have been one of the many emotions that a young jewish girl experienced over 2000 years ago – that feeling of apprehension as she embarked upon a remarkable journey.

2020 has forced many of us to question our journey – to where? and why?

This piece reflects a musical wandering through the desert – our personal pilgrimage… we think of visitors from the east; the maji who followed the star to Bethlehem all those years ago. How many of us would have the committment to start and follow through on that kind of journey?

… and yet so many of us are still wandering today – still searching for a star, any star, to follow.
